This ever happened to anyone? Today we were feeding Harvey, our juvie BP, when he struck at the mouse, coiled around it, let it go to "test" it, and then began to eat it sideways. Two minutes later, he put it down again - I THOUGHT to start from the head - and just never touched it again. Huh? ??????????

This ever happened to anyone? My big ball does this several times a year. She just kills the rat and leaves it there.

This ever happened to anyone? Yes..I have had them start, stop, and never want to return. Just get them to take it again and try and make sure the angle they take it is where they will be starting at the head to eat from the coil. They have bad eye sight so you almost need to put cold food right in front of their face. Especially when the lights are on.

This ever happened to anyone? You can hold the F/T mouse’s nose up to a heat lamp for a minute or two before offering it, that will clue them in as to where to start eating. You just have to make sure that it doesn’t get too warm.
