Should I ? I’ve recenlty notices a ball python in my pet shop and realised that I really want one. I’ve wanted a snake for a long time and have only had lizards. Is the ball python a good idea for my first snake? I have looked around on the internet for info on them and they seem to be a very good snakes for begginers, but the internet is sometimes un-true. So is this true? And one more thing, do they lunge for the face at all, because thats always in the back of my mind. Thanks, any help appreciated :)

Should I ? So you are going on the internet to see if the internet is a reliable source? Anyway, going at your face is always a possibility so you should never be careless. For the most part ball pythons are the most docile and shy animals around. For a beginneer I would have to say there is no reason it is not ok if you buy a healthy and good eating animal.
