 Cage building?

I just built a cage for my ball, it is made out of half inch plywood,it is four feet long two feet tall and two feet deep, I put quarter inch plexi glass for the front and wire mesh for the top, I am using black lite lamps for heating right now but am looking into heat panels..

I used Carpet under-lay ply wood, i would go with 1/2 tho, its easier to work with.

For heat pad ... becauase you are building a tank, you can’t stick it to the ply wood on the bottom ... so you might wanna try this. its working good for me. I got a normal, "stick on" heat pad, and went to a glass store, and got them to cut me a piece to fit the heat pad ... $4-$6, or around that for the glass. If you want you can buy a "light dimmer" switch at any hardware store and splice it on the heat pad cord ... and get a stick on thermometer, and now you can control the temps of the heat pad.

I used a piece of glass for the front of my cage.

I think thats everything ...

Later,
Jake

 Cage building?

i put it inside one of the hides. and i keep it around 85

what part are you confussed about? the piece of glass is the same size as the heat pad ... and its just laying inside the bottom right hide ...

In the pics above ... i have two hides ... one on the left and right side, and they both have enternces into them for cleaning etc etc ... thats how i put the heat pad + attached glass.
