Sterelizing drift wood  hi, whats the easiest and safest way to sterelize drift wood i want to put in my bp’s enclosure?

Sterelizing drift wood  Drift wood is tough because it is porous but you can heat it in the oven for about four hours at 250 to 275 degrees. This is a low enough temperature that it will not catch on fire but it will kill all the unwanted beasties.

Sterelizing drift wood  The problem with using a bleach mixture on wood especially porous wood is that the solution can soak into the wood and you cannot get it completely out. This bleach solution can irritate your snake. I have used the heating in the oven method many times and have never had any trouble with it. Good luck.
