I wouldn’t use heat - I would drop off at Fedex as late as you can (for example, I can drop off as late as 8 pm at my FedEx hub) and of course ship for early AM delivery. Most of the transportation part of it is climate controlled. Better to be a little bit too cold for even a couple of hours than to overheat the animal and cause death or neurological problems.
