FOUND MY BP I LOST!!! REMEMBER ME

I’m the one who put it in the bathroom and came home to put it in its new cage because the other one I got had a crack in it and it was gone!!! I tore up my house inside and out under and through and still didn’t find him. Then my husband brought home another. I had this genius idea to go into the bathroom with the new one and see where it would go. BINGO, he went into a hole that is on the bottom of almost every bathroom cabinet. You can’t see it from eye level you really have to feel for it. It is up underneath that leads to a filer space between the wall and cabinet. Sure enough Toby was there. It took us two days to get him we had to cut out a huge piece of cabinet (don’t worry we did it safely) and replace it. He is now in his home and he has a friend named Harper. Their doing just fine. Thank everyone for all your support. I am so much happier now that I found him.
P.S. I WONT LOOSE HIM AGAIN OR HIS NEW FRIEND!!

Wow... congrats on finding him. That was actually a very clever idea on how to find him.

Just a question though are you housing them together? Hope not...

Get him warm, give him a week to acclimate, and then attempt feeding, and keep Mr. in his secure home. :)

That’s great news!

I guess if I ever lose my snake I’ll have to buy another one to hunt down the first! Maybe I’ll start losing them on purpose... ; )

congrats yes make sure not ot keep them in the same cage. as it can ersult in possible lost of both snakes. I also have you hubby go around with a can ( or 4) of the expanding foam and seal as many holes ( voids 0 as possible ot prevent any other remolding requirements to be done in the future.

Makes note still needs a another 3 cansd to finsih the kitchen and master bathroom .

Ball pythons are solitary animals and housing them together may cause unwanted stress. Its also double the vet bills if one gets sick.

FOUND MY BP I LOST!!! REMEMBER ME

I did’t know this and since I have found TOBY, they have been in the same cage for two weeks now. They seem to be doing fine. Both are males by the way. I don’t want babies. But they are just as they were the day I got them. They are both handled by both my kids and my husband and I and they haven’t seemed aggressive or agitated. The only thing right now is we know we have to feed them separately and so far when we have tried neither of them will eat. We have had Toby for 3 weeks now, But he was lost for the first one. And Harper we have had for 2 weeks but he was just feed the day we got him so he wasn’t due for a feeding yet. We have tried feeding them but no luck??
