Hides or no hides?  just out of curiousity becuase my snake is ALWAYS burrowing in his new bark substrate, if this were to continuously do this would i have any need for a hide spot?ps im not going to, i was just wondering

Hides or no hides?  Yea always have hide spots because then it’ll have somewere to retreat to quickly, also what are the temps in your tank? because snakes burrow when their too hot. Scott15,

Hides or no hides?  Keep the hides, even though your snake may burrow it may still like the weight of the hides.

Hides or no hides?  Do you have a thermometer to check the temps? If not, you should get two for each tank one on each end. I use the old fashion liquid filled thermometers but there are some nice digital ones out that have a probe that you can drop in the tank. They are not too expensive being around 14 dollars. Also, you do need to have the hides as well as letting it dig in the substrate. That will probably keep the stress level down.
