ball pythons Are ball python docile? Do they make good pets? Are they easy to look aftr? Are they easey to handle? And how often can you handle them?because ive been told you can only hold them once a week as they stress easily. Normaly im more into corns but since so many people say there great ive been tempted to get one.

ball pythons 1.) Yes 2.) Yes 3.) Yes 4.) Yes 5.) I’d say at the least once a week, and the most 5 days a week (gotta digest you know). 6.) That’s not true, but you do have to give them time to digest their food. 7.) If you like them, you should get one. Read the caresheet here , and if you have any more questions feel free to PM me or ask them here. You can see photos of my BP’s on that site, but here is a picture that isn’t on the site.

ball pythons Before purchasing a Royal, I would continue to do some homework. Here are some additional caresheets that are very informative.Ken Felsman Guide NERD Caresheet You may also want to purchase a copy of, The Ball Python Manual. It’s a great book and inexpensive.

ball pythons There is no "time limit" on how long to hold a Snake. I have my snake out everyday of the week ... almost. Just pay attention to your snake, you’ll know if you are keeping them out for to long. Learn its personality. I think i could hold T’Pol 24/7 ... i have never once seen her stressed, and i have held her before/during/after feeding, and she didn’t stress out at all. anyways, bed time ... later

ball pythons Oooooh, T’Pol’s a female. I thought you had Pelota’s brother, lol. Yeah, Pelota can be out for long periods of times too. Sometimes I have her out for 2 hours. Others it’s just 5-10 minutes. It all depends on what I’m doing, and how she holds up. Sometimes she’s moody and wants back in her cage, other times she just chills out with me watching tv.

ball pythons If I’m not mistaken, T’Pol is a Vulcan name isn’t it? It sure sounds like one to this Star Trek fan.
