I hold my mice’s head up to his heat lamp to make it a little toasty so my bp knows where to strike it and swallow it. If it is pre killed you could also do the heat trick and then dance it around a bit. That’s all I know....hope it helps.

i know i’m an amature and i’m not the best to be giving advice but i wouldn’t feed live, the last time i did the mouse fought back... scared me to death i couldn’t do anything! i thought for sure the mouse hurt her! so yah i wouldn’t suggest live.

dont leave the mouse in there too long! it may attack your bp!then you’ll really have some issues!
maybe your bp is not hungry yet,...i’d say give him more time then try again

wow...well then *ahem* i think i am out of my league! lol i’ve only had mine since sept and she’ll eat any time, even durring a shed and even just after moving and changing things around...she has a very healthy appetite
