nice snake and setup but the HOT spot temp. should be 90. Mabye its just becasue you need a digital thermometer... you should get one i didnt and had one you had and its said it was 70 but the digital one told me it was 90...maleeh12

Are you sure he’s a year old? He’s pretty much the exact same size as Pelota and she’s only 6 months old this wednesday and feeding on weaned rats. It depends on what you feed them and how you care for them too. If you’ve only been feeding him an adult mouse once a week he might not grow that fast either.Or I may be wrong and Pelota’s done her drastic growing for a while....who knows..

True, Pelota. But you do have to remember, Pelota is a female, and his Sumo could be a male, and that would make a size difference. Some Males don’t go past 3ft.

oooookie somethings not right here, my snake is about 2yrs old and she’s 2ft and i feed her "hoppers" , they’re mice that are not quite adults yet....should she be eating small rats by now??? am i under feeding her??

Feed her one rodent that’s as thick as the thickest part of her body. If your snake is a ball python, then, I’m not gonna lie...yes, it sounds like your snake should be taking atleast small-medium rats at that age. Usually ball pythons can take small adult mice from the time they hatch out of the egg.But if you have a different type of snake that is generally smaller in size, then you might be fine. What type of snake is it?

It’s a ball pythons. I have a snake that is 18 inches and eating adult mice, and a snake that is 14 inches and eating adult mice, and those are ball pythons.

Anastasia .... you doubted me about feeding size... But I think another person confirmed it :P .... just bugging. It not bad if Isabell eats mice that are smaller, she just has to eat more that way. You should get some bigger food so when i come over to feed your snake during the christmas break, i am not there all day, making sure she has afull belly :P just buggin .... later
