Alexander .... 
Has anyone watched the new movie Aledander? Was a good movie, BUT ... they used a Ball Python as an "Evil" Snake. No wonder non snake owners think snakes should be banned. Argh ... Angelina Jolie ...        puts a BP around her neck and tells her son that, basically, if you show fear the snake will strike. Ah well, was just wondering if anyone else noticed this .... and was wondering what your thoughts were. anyways ... later,

Yo ... i got your email .... and i have posted several times that i don;t have blueprints ....and maybe i am off on this, but posting your pics everywhere in other people’s threads can get annoying ... know what i mean? not trying to be an a$$ ... but people don;t like that. You don’t have to take offense to what he was saying. I know what he means. You don’t have to just post your pictures in every topic you post on. It can be annoying when people are reading stuff, and then they have to stop for pics to load. And he was talking about the movie Alexander because there is a ball python in it. He was asking what we thought about that, and the fact that they showed the snake as evil. Did you not read that?

Ya... I was wondering if anyone had any problems with how a movie portray’s one of the most docile snakes, as a snake that will attack if you show fear. This is part of the reason there are snake bans in several cities, including my own; People think they are "evil" ... Obviously, if you take a BP out of the wild it will not be as docile as a captive bred snake, but snake owners, 99% of the time, do not have wild snakes ..... Anyways ....

I think from a lit crit standpoint the objective is to pose a theme of Man vs. Nature. It has not only been Hollywood. We see it in literature, other print, and to some degree in reality. I think part of it is getting people to separate reality from fiction, part of it is our job to keep educating folks, and part of it is to understand that conflict sells. Take Moby and even the Bible. As long as folks are afraid of what they do not understand, they will legislate stupidity.
