Heat Tape or Heat Pad  which would be better and safer to use on a sterilite enclosure or repti-tub?

Heat Tape or Heat Pad  A week ago I would have said a human heat pad and heat tape are both perfectly fine, but after discovering my snake frying in 125 degrees after the heat pad malfunctioned, I’d say heat tape with a good thermostat would be best. If it helps, here’s a site I plan on buying from after the holidays. It’s ran by a person I know from another site. He’s pretty good. He has heat tape and thermostats. The thermostats are pretty expensive....but they are the best available, used by pros. Not to mention they’re up to 130 dollars retail. So by that comparison, his are a good deal. mgreptiles.com
