Is This Ok? Less than a year, they can be 18 inches long when hatched but are usually a little shorter than that.

Is This Ok? Ok..how long would a baby stay in a 20gal? 25"W x 12"D x 15"H?? because we have a fish tank in our kitchen and it has a really old goldfish in it i was thinking when it dies(still a little wile away) maybe i could use that tank. Scott15,

Is This Ok? The 20 gallon would be better for a baby so you could keep it in there longer. I’d say put the fish in that 10 gallon(that ledge might make it an interesting fish tank ) and then have the 20 gallon for the bp.A bp can live comfortably in a 20 gallon up until it hits 2 feet, but you can keep them in until they hit 3 feet. Currently I have my 2 foot bp in a 20 gallon and it’s pretty cramped. So I’d say once they hit 2 feet try getting a bigger cage.

Is This Ok? honestly for a bp you’d need to cover all the sides bah one, bp’s stess easily and so in a 20gallon make sure their is plenty of hides where they can just snugle fit in.

Is This Ok? My mum is still saying no so im just trying to get a kind of ’plan’ together like get all my facts straite before i keep asking her lol, i would defintaley put the goldfish in the 10 gal but its an old hampster cage an i can only put roughly 4" water in there because there a lil vent 4" up from the bottom of the tank I’ll wait until it passes away that way my mum may of hopefully given in by then but then again the fish may not die until im 17 lol I just really want to get everything right.
