Not to be handled during shed??? I was just reading old posts and someone said not to hold a bp during a shed because of the oils in your skin?? That’s the first I have ever heard that! Just wondering!

Not to be handled during shed??? Nope, never heard that, lol. I’ve heard you shouldn’t hold a bp while they’re in shed because it stresses them out with the bad vision and sensitive skin and stuff. But yeah, never heard of the oil thing, lol...

Not to be handled during shed??? snakes in general shouldnt be handled during shedding or after a feed as it may cause stress and there is the risk of damge. whilst shedding the snakes are quite sensitive and something on your hands could affect them. unless their is a problem your best to avoid handling.
