What happens during a bite? 
I was wondering what happens when you get bit.do they hold on or quickly let go.Do you pull whatever gets bit out or wait till it lets go.I know there are probably different temperments,but what is most common.

they either hold on and wrap around you, or let go really fast. If they hold on you should just wait till they let go because it can hurt them alot to pull them off. Unless its a really big BP it isnt going to hurt much. dont let it go around your neck if it bites you though, then you should try to pull away.

If you get bit and they hang on, run them under luke warm water they will let go!!

Alot seems to depend on why it’s biting you, a defensive bite is usualy mostly bluff, you’ll get whacked with alot of sound and show, shocked and the snake will back off to do it again...a feeding mistake bite and you may get wrapped, if this happens begin unwrapping tail first...with a smaller snake, placeing them in the corner of their enclosure and saying "bad snake, no biting, that hurt!" doesn’t do anything, but it makes u feel better.

I’ve also heard that if you put a lil bit of DRINKING alcohol in their mouth (with their head pointing to the ground) they’ll let go right away. But if you put it in their mouths when their head is tilted up, it could get into their respiratory system, and cause an infection. Thats what I’ve heard anyway.

I’d recommend you don’t do anything like that at all. It can be stressful and harmful to the snake.
