My spider layed her eggs today. 6 Nice looking eggs, they look really good, so i’m hoping for the best. My cell dosn’t want to send the pic for some reason ill get it up soon.

Hey I had a question about one of the eggs. When candled there is a ring on the side of the egg that all the vains go too. I didn’t know if it should b turned or left alone? Thank you.

Hey congrats on the eggs.
I’m not so sure what the ring is, but I do know that the egg should not be turned. It will drown the developing snake inside and kill it.

the ring is the embryo developing,did you mark the tops of the eggs before you removed them?,if so,make sure that mark is still on top,ususally the ring goes on the bottom,as its where the baby is attached

I didn’t mark them. But I think the snake turned it. Ik I didn’t turn an egg. Should I make it so that’s on the bottom? I thought it was the embryo n there supposed to be on the bottom. Thanks =)

At this point DO NOT turn your eggs or you will kill them.

Sometimes eggs roll out, and in most cases if it happens within a few hours of being layed they will develop just fine.

Thanks. lol. I know how you feel, this is only my second clutch, and my first ball python clutch, plus there morphs so I’m so exited. The waiting is so hard though. I just want to see them now. Hope your turn comes soon. =D

I know it would be easier in a way I think, with out the eggs. Thats why I like boas. It is so hard to wait 55 days. It gose by so slow.

Ya, I guess luck was on my side. Lol. Seeing any baby snakes is nice there all so cute. This waiting really gets to you though.

Thanks. The add’s were amazing, 5 morphs in 6 eggs. I couldn’t believe it. I just want to see them out of there eggs already.

So you cut the eggs on the 23rd but they are still not out on the 4th???????? How many days of incubation where you in again when you cut and at what temp did you incubate.

Why can’t you take pictures while they are still in the eggs, those are some of the best ones you can take, I always do. Nothing cutter than a snake in it’s egg.
