Thermostat  does anybody know where to get a good thermostat in stores or online for $50 or under. LIST SITES!!!

Thermostat  I have seen them in some of the chain pet stores that can control up to 500 watts for around $35 and 1000 watts for about $50. Be sure that the one you get handle the electric load that you will be putting on it. If you system is rated in "amps" to get watts multiply the amps listed by 120 and that will give you watts. It is much better to buy a thermostat that is rated too high than overloading a 500 watt one.

Thermostat  i have a question if i just plug in my UTH to a wall socet and then in a thermomstat and put the thermomstat all the way up will the tempature be hotter than the wall socet??maleeh

Thermostat  NO, the UTH will only get as hot as it is designed to get unless it malfunctions.
