TEMPS?  hey i was wonderin if 95 deg. was to hot for the snake in the tank the temp is around 81 but the temp in his hide is 95 his hide is over the heat pad and i was wonderin if it was to hot and if it is what i need to do to fix it??

TEMPS?  I keep my heating pad at 85-88, I would think 95 on the heating pad is alittle too hot.Steven

 95 is ok, but I would’nt let it go any higher. I keep my tanks around 92. I would also bring your cool side temp up at least to 85

TEMPS?  ya about temps. i have problems my self. i have a 40 degree heat lamp bulb. my hot side is around 79 and my cold side i dont know i know it should be at 94 degrees about.i dont know what to do for me.. some one tell me where to put the thermometor. i have a sticky 1. i put it on the botttom left on the out side bye the hot spot and it reads 76. then i have 1 in the middle on the top on the inside it reads 80. then i have one on the top middle on the out side it reads 78. should i put a heat pad next to my other heat pad? and get a 60 wat bulb? i have had the snake for about 4 days. its been staying in the water for about most ofthe time i had it it doesnt seem to hot in the cage that it needs to go in the water. pleaseee helpp meee.

TEMPS?  See if you can get an under tank heater and put that under one end of your cage. If the sticky thermometers you have are the ones that change color they are for estimates only. I use the old fashion liquid thermometers that have suction cups on them and fasten then to the inside of the tank. You can also buy digital thermometers that have a probe and you can hang them in the tank. You only need one on each end of the tank. I also check the bottom on the tank by touching it with my hand once in a while and it should be just barely warm. Good luck.
