How do you make wire tops??
Use a thread and needle...that should hold it until you can get a new one!!

How do you make wire tops?? Hehe, happened to me yesterday too. I duct taped it to the side, and I made sure that no sticky side was exposed.

How do you make wire tops?? I fixed two with duct tape, and I have used hot glue at times to. I fixed one once with some very thin copper wire like U1SickBoy was talking about with the thread. All of the ones I have fixed are still in service.

How do you make wire tops?? They are both still holding well but the hot glue looks a lot better and I trust it more. The duck tape works well but with the humidity in the snake cage it may come off after a while. If you have a choice, I would recommend the hot glue.

How do you make wire tops?? Why except super glue? It sounds like it’d work the best. Unless you’re worried about fumes. I’m sure it’d air out fast though and that wouldn’t be a problem. If you have a metal cage top like I have, you could solder it also. I was thinking about that a while ago in case I had a mishap with mine too. I’d say soldering it, or superglue would hold best.

How do you make wire tops?? I’ve found that hot glue actually works better than super glue on the metal mesh tops. At least it seems to hold better over the long haul. That may because you get way more hot glue on it than you do super glue.

How do you make wire tops?? I’m having a hard time visualizing the top. I take it you’re not talking about the screen top, but the over-the-edge wire top? I’m just slow, so bear with me... Besides tape, you can either just buy a new top ($15-$20) or go to Home Depot, buy the material for a few bucks and make a screen with locking tabs. You can get the tabs at most pet stores. I’ve made many screens with tabs and it’s very easy.
