This is my Ball Python, Laike,
He is an intelligent snake.
I’ve taught him to fetch,
Play dead, and play catch,
But I can’t seem to get him to shake.

I am a herp emeritus.
I feed my herps common brown rattus.
I once made the mistake
Of housing a snake
With a sweet Scalopera undulatus.

My Corn Snakes, Willie and Fred,
Their skins they like to shed.
I reach in and take it,
Knead it and bake it,
And make it into corn (snake) bread.

Has anyone seen my friend Rhonda?
She recently swallowed a Honda.
She’s the single most baddest,
Biggest, and fastest,
Meanest old Green Anaconda.

I just bought a Leo named Splash,
She cost me a lot of cash!!!
Her cage is quite big,
And she likes to dig.
But she’s never worn a sash.

I have an Albino named Sandy,
She really is quite dandy!
When you see that I’m needing,
Sandy for breeding,
You can tell that she really is handy!

I once was in a field,
My lips were completely sealed.
I happend to see a great snake,
while I ran I stepped on a rake!
I think my lips had peeled.

It’s not so good, but I’m sort of tired. Oh well.

Mosi is a red tail boa
He hates it when it gets colda,
And do i dare say,
as his friends walk this way,
Carmelita has a boa named Koa!

I am the Green Lizard King,
And danger to insects I bring.
I’m crawling through thickets
Searching for crickets
And the crickety songs that they sing.

Of all the world’s myriad fauna,
There’s nothing quite like the iguana.
But you must understand
That they hail from a land
With a climate that’s much like a sauna.

If you’ve been known to fraternize
With a snake of incredible size,
Please let me mention
You must pay attention
If he gives you those ’hungry eyes.’

I’m the most beautiful boa you’ve seen.
My scales cast a colorful sheen,
Except when I’m shedding
Or buried in bedding.
But you snake lovers know what I mean.

I’m the people-eating Barnborbus,
People say I’m carnivorous.
"People!" They say,
"Run Away!!!"
Or so says the might Allgorbus!!

NOTE: Barnborbus and Allgorbus are made up words. They are supposed to be the names of 2 Komodo Dragons that aren’t calm. No offense to Komodo Dragons though.

Sorry about that last one- pretty awkward. Fun, though.

Allgorbus to Barnby said,
"I’d like to see you in my bed."
Barnborbus to Al replied,
"Not even over my dead hide!"

To this the Mighty Al did cry,
"I’d love to peek upon your thigh.."
But Barnby wouldn’t quench his thirst.
"You jerk! You have to kiss me first!"

And kiss they did.
And then they hid.
Beneath a rock.
To smooch and talk.

An unlucky little lizard
Was caught out in a blizzard.
He found that he’d lost
His tail to the frost,
And developed a frost-bitten gizzard.

Of reptiles with lopsided smiles.

"That Leos all white!" somebody said
People thought that she was dead.
People thought it was from fright,
Herself she began to bite.
To remove the skin that she should shed.

My Leo had just laid eggs,
The alarm went up like flags!
They were in the Moist Hide,
They sure did abide!
I had to pull them off with rags!

My Emerald Boa named Blanch
Hangs from her favorite branch.
She gets all the action
In my road-side attraction,
’The Emerald Tree Boa Ranch.’

I brought this little lizard fella’
Home but then I noticed yella’
Goo in my eye.
I hope I don’t die.
I believe I have caught Salmonella.

A pretty little lizard said,
"I think it’s time for me to shed!"
Her skin fell aside
Revealing a hide
Gorgeous from tail to head.

Though he’s undersized, he will not eat...
niether frozen/thawed nor fresh killed meat.
Very small is his girth,
and the cleft palate he’s had since birth.
But flaws & all....he just can’t be beat.

If you see me attempting to catch
A python to add to my batch,
Genetically speaking
It means that I’m tweaking
The genes of an upcoming hatch.

The snake coils up on its scutes,
While bamboo stands tall on its shoots.
Dogs on their paws,
And cats on their claws,
And trees on their far-reaching roots.

I finally bought a Lizard Frilled
And truly was extremely thrilled
Until I did count
The total amount
That the so-and-so breeder had billed.

Look at my fine Uromastix.
I really do think he’s fantastic!
But he pulls out the strings
Of my long underwear,
And leaves all my things
completely threadbare
And even chews up the elastic.

I saw this weird looking Snake,
It looked completly fake!
With Crystal and Sandstone,
Fruit that was hand-grown,
and even a part of a rake!!!!

One day when I was cleaning cages,
I flipped the manny, many pages
of my Herping Products Book,
so I could find a hook.
Boy!! Did that take ages!?!?!?!?!

I was starting to break,
down the leaf piles with my rake.
I then heard a scream,
and I started to beam!
For there on the grass was my Snake!

I was happy to sit on the grass,
and just let all the time pass.
I then saw a Garter,
That I later named Sarter,
Eat a piece of a bass.

Shes sitting in her water
Shes like my lil daughter

Im really glad i brought her
she worth way more than a quarter

She may be new
But her skin seems blue

Now her skin has Gone
There doesnt seem anything wrong

(Its pretty bad but its now 3am lol so im not thinking very strait lol)

One sunny day LazarusLong,
heard the doorbell go "Ding-Dong"!
He opened the door,
and looked on the floor,
and saw his Snake looked like a Gong!

I eating a piece of cake,
when I suddenly saw a Snake!
It came down and ate up,
the cake and my cup,
and then I saw that it was fake!

I have a gecko named Clementine
Her size you say? In inches shes 5
She sticks to walls,
and never falls,
Shes the cutest Crestie of all time!

Leopard Geckos strut and run,
Even though sticking to walls is fun.
On the ground they stay,
Each night and day,
and that is my little leos way!
(sorry that one was bad)^

I have a carpet python, Irian Jaya
Shes never met her dear old "Fajha"
I dont know how,
But shes fat as a cow,
Her name is Nyoka Naya!

At limmeriks I’m not so great,
MY poetic ability is as if I am Eight
If my ’conda herd these,
she would sneak up with ease,
and think that I was boa bait!
