 Interwsting bedding question

the other day thay cut a tree down next to my house. one of those maple trees with the little spiked balls. well thay ground the stump and the chips look pritty cool. im curiouse if i might be able to dry and bake and use them for bedding. after i clean um real good ofcourse. anny one have a thought on that idea?

I believe that would be a chestnut tree as Maples have Keys...
...I would go with what you know...You just can’t be too sure about the oils the wood may contain or got in it when the machine ground it up?...Trav
