She Wont Eat I have my first ball python. Ive only had her for about 2 weeks. The first week i brought her home she ate for me. This last week she wouldnt go for the fuzzy. I have been feeding f/t just because i’m scared to feed her live becuase ive seen a live attack a bp. Any suggestions. The temps are right so is the humidity..fresh water and all.

She Wont Eat mine decided to not eat recently. dont be alarmed just wait a week and try again. if your ball drops alot of weight then seek a vet.its not uncommon for them to refuse to eat. what you wanna be worried about is majore wheight loss.
im sure some one else will have more advice than i have . so check back soon.

She Wont Eat Sometimes mine will not strike at it, but will eat if I put him in another container with the mouse in a quiet, dark place for about an hour. He did this as a hatchling and an adult, last week in fact!

She Wont Eat Try just leaving it inside the hide , it will be fine overnight.

She Wont Eat What exactly are the temps/humidity and what are you measuring them with?
And what kind of enclosure is she in with what kind of hides?
Also, fuzzies are too small for BPs. They can handle hoppers out of the egg!

She Wont Eat The breeder that i got her from started her on the fuzzies and i know the size of her girth is what determines the appropriate size food. i put her in a seperate container when i feed her so she doesnt associate the top of her tank coming off with eating. and i recently tried to leave it in there overnight. The breeder i purchased her from was feeding her live. but she ate the f/t for me the first week i got her. shes in a custom built aquarium. she has 3 hides. shes very docile and she hasnt dropped weight. shes still very active and very very docile. warm side of her aquarium is 90-93 cool side always between 79-80 and humidity is 58 to 60 %

She Wont Eat You could try feeding her in her enclosure. It is a HUGE internet myth that feeding in the tank causes cage aggression. The people that have tons of snakes simply don’t have the time to do so and they never experience cage aggression! Letting your snake strike from the comfort of its hide may very well help its feeding response, especially if he is getting accustomed to a new habitat.
Also, its more important to get your snake on a regular feeding schedule at first. If he was eating live previously, get him to regularly eat live for you. Then try to make the transition to f/t.
