I just spoke to Trish on the phone...she posted in FB, then her mouse died so she couldnt get to RZ so I am pasting what she said....

Patricia McClancy : Ok well we are going to surgery on Wed afternoon, sigh, my surgeon says I am better but not better enough, soooooooo, off we go! I will have either the easy one, lapcrosopic, surgeon does not think so, most likely I will end up with a bag for 3-4 months, then another surgery to put things back together again, I am not looking forward to this at all. Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts! Love you alll.

If her hospital is half as crazy as mine is about pain control, she should have a pretty easy time with recovery...

hey Sara..I believe its called a colonoscopy bag.
Im gonna try to get up there Saturday to see her, even though she will proabably be sleeping the whole time.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers! They are much appreciated and welcomed. I won’t be on here long, just came on long enough to get rid of all the junk mail and check for important stuff........
Thanks Dee for posting for me, I appreciate it...........I have been so sick since Sept that I have not hardly been on the computer at all.
By bag I mean a colostomy bag.......uggg, ok without going into more detail than anyone really wants to know...........they will be taking out part of my colon, the bag will be so that they do not have to suture to colon back together until it is totally back to good health, so basically I will be wearing a bag to rid my body of waste...........then a second surgery to put my colon back together in 3-4 months...........
I also hope that I get really really good drugs!!!!!!!!!!! This is not going to be fun :-(
