Odd behavior 
latly one of my balls has decided not to use the hide. for the last 3 days he gets behiend it. could it be that he has decided he needs a new hide. he still fits in his hide with about an extra inch. when you look threw the door he still has about an inch he isnt using.
or is it he just in a diffrent mood and wants to see whats out there.

I wouldn’t worry about it. If he want to use it he will. Long as he is eating , shedding and pooping fine.

I have this one pastel that will fit in her hide, but she chooses to smush against the side of the tub and the hide to rest....
some jst go under the newspaper.
I actualyl had a snake laying with its head in one hide, and its tail int he other hide, and the midbody out in the open...LOL!!
But as Rick said, as long as hes eating and all and isnt stressed, all should be good!!

thats funny i have the sam question my bp hasnt been in his hide in a few days aswell i was wondering if the change in the season had something to do with it ? he sits under a log all day and in the morning when i get up hes usally under the log again but i see him moving around at night

it may be a combo of season... he ate as usual no problem at all. went in his hide for 3 or so hours and bacck out behiend it now.he doesent seem ill or even adgitated at all . he just wants to be out.one thing about him he is verry socal. he actualy tries to come out."during handeling time" he knows when it is and literaly just plain likes to be with people. now in my case the female is all but a few inches away seperated by pegboard" thin board with millions of holes" ther is a chance that he knows the female is there. given the season he just might want a girl friend. she is too young id expect him too young also . but instinct and 20 million years or so. maybe he just knows .
