Just strikes I’m confused....You feed your bp in a rubbermaid tub, kept at 90 degrees, with a shower running? Huh? lolMaybe he doesn’t feel secure in the feeding environment. Is this rubbermaid tub his cage, or a seperate feeding area? If it’s a seperate feeding area, try feeding him in his cage. Maybe just leave the nice and warm thawed rodent in his cage with him, and cover the cage with a towel or something. Some bp’s are shy like that.

Just strikes If you are not already feeding him in the early evening, just after sundown, try doing that. Since they are nocturnal by nature and are most active right after sundown, some of them prefer to eat then.

Just strikes You don’t really need the extra humidity at feeding time, only at shedding time. Try covering his feeding cage with a towel or something.

Just strikes Ok well thats weird, and its totaly unneccessary, lol. You mean you put the tub in the shower, and turn it on? You dont need to really even mist the cage if you have a heating pad, you do if you have heat lamp cus its dry, but with a heating pad i dont mists my cages and the humidity in my house is fine for them. So that is totally unneccessary. And also....I mean if you are just feeding them in that tub, you really dont need to heat it unless it takes them like 8 hours to eat or something.
