DOES ANY 1 keep a towel on there cage? you need to get a new thermometer, unless your room is in the 50’s. Get a digital thermometer with probe and use that for your temps.

DOES ANY 1 keep a towel on there cage? i mean your thermometer is most likely 10+ degrees low. if your room was in the 50’s then you might have an excuse for such low temps, but if it isnt you need a new thermometer.

DOES ANY 1 keep a towel on there cage? my room is 66-67 exactaly and my crappy sticky thermometor says 84 now? so does that mean its 94? some times the thermometor says 87 so does that mean its 97 that would be way to hot.

DOES ANY 1 keep a towel on there cage? Those stick on dial therms. are terribly inaccurate. Get a digital, and we can go from there when you know what your temps really are.

DOES ANY 1 keep a towel on there cage? I only use a towel on top of the cage to cover the mesh for humidity to stay in. And I agree...if you’re using 2 heat pads, and a heat lamp, and your temperatures are that low, there’s something wrong there... I have one human heat pad under one half of my tank, and it keeps the temperatures at 90 warm and 80 cool. And that’s with my cold 60 degree room. So yeah...
