 UPDATE ON TRISH :)

her daughter emailed me today......


"sorry I have not written sooner - been kind of crazy. The tube has been removed now as of about 1/2 hour ago. Her fever is now gone completely and she is eating a popcycle - they have almost completely ruled out any sort of blockage and she is doing much better now. She is on clear fluids and as long as she continues to improve she may be able to go home this weekend :) Her throat is still very very sore from the tube so she is still not quite up to talking but wanted me to send you her love and thank you for all of you concern and prayers!!! :) She is in MUCH better spirits and is just so happy to have the tube out and the vomiting did not return! Please pass along this great news!"

That’s awesome! Glad she didn’t have to get another surgery. JoAnne’s throat was sore for a day or two after she got the tube out also. I’ll make sure to call her once she’s feeling good enough to talk. We talked to JoAnne through her computer most of the time. Lolz. She just typed everything out.

Hey Trish,
I’m so glad you got that horrible tube out. It feels MUCH better doesn’t it? lol
Have they done xrays for blockages yet? Hopefully you’ll keep every thing down this time and they won’t have to give you another tube. I swear both of my nostrils are still sore from those because they thought it’d be better if they just switched sides.
Go slow on the eating for now, a popsicle’s good but you don’t want it to come back up. A jello goes a long way towards ending hunger lol. ;)

i just got new news, after the tube was taken out, Trish needs prayers again, she has a fever now again & fears another blockage & surgery..they are doing a CT scan this morning

Oh no! Geeze, I keep getting my hopes up and then something goes and happens again! Trish, you need to get better so I can stop worrying about you! I’ll keep you in my thoughts. Just be glad at least you don’t have the tube anymore!

Aww that sucks! Well hopefully you don’t have to get the tube back in or any more surgeries. You’re definitely in my thoughts right now. Hope you feel better soon!
