BP Housing okay my ball python is about 2 1/2 feet and i need a new cage. so my question is witch method of housing is better:1. Buy a 30 gallon breeder 2.Get sterilite model number 1995 about 75x20x7 a. If heated by UTH should i stick it to the plastic (120 degrees) or should i heat lamp the sterilite or should i but cardboard between the sterilite and UTH 3. Make a wooden cage a. 2 story (1st story 4x2 and 2nd story 4x1) and heated by Heat lamp Maleeh

BP Housing If you can afford them, Boaphile or Vision cages would be a nice choice.

BP Housing Yeah if you have 100-200 dollars extra, I’d get a nice AP cage or something like that. Usually the pre-made custom cages can come with heat and everything installed. It’d probably be the simplest way to go.But if you’re on a budget like me, just get the rubbermaid/sterilite. As for UTH, I would use heat tape regulated by a thermostat. Just raise the sterilite just enough so the UTH isn’t touching the bottom of it. But it shouldn’t get too hot and melt or anything if you have the UTH on a thermostat. That’d be the easiest. As for the others, I’m not a very big fan of glass and wooden cages. Not the easiest to heat and clean and stuff.
