 Humidity. and temeratures

my digital thermometors are way different reading then all 4 of my other sticky thermometors i jus6 bought this thermometor. o the humidity is at like 30 percent almost how do i get that up?

digital thermometers are at least somewhat accurate stick on ones suck


well heat lamps destroy humidity for one...

You said you had two heat pads and a heat lamp. I’d take the heat lamp away, and see what the temperatures on the warm and cool side are with the two heat pads. Belly heat is always better than overhead heat.

Build a humid hide, steralite, spagnum moss or paper towels, dampen, put on warm side, seems to work well for most snakes.

k thanks so put a damp paper towel under a hid by the warm side so it acts as a damp flour and humidity rises in the hide? ok i will try? how many times do you need to spray the cage a day about to keep it at 60 about ?

be verry carefull with damp towels i used the same idea for retained eye caps to try and get them off with the humidity in one of the hot hides she ended up with necrotic dermatitis (scale rot) be verry carefull mate
