 OMg HELP !!!!
MY SNAKE IS CRAZY OR SOME THING!!! I DONT KNOW WHATS WRONG!!! i just put a new (digital thermometor) in there and took a crappy hiding place out that the snake never uses (its to big for it to use) But any way i went near the cage to check on it and the snake starts striking at me! from inside of its cage. it starts striking and strikes about 4 times and then it curled up into a ball when it was in its water dish. it just went back into striking position. the only thing i did was i took out a heat pad because i had 2 and the digital thermometor that i just got said 97 so i took a heat pad out. i have a heat lamp on it and i have 1 heat pad the digital thermometor reads 91. but the snake is striking at me from inside of its cage it ate yesturday. i am going to be so afraid of holding it i am so mad and sad i dont know whats wrong PLease help.

Maybe you just spooked it. I’ve had my bp act weird if I wake her up unexpectedly while doing stuff in her cage.
Since you’ve changed something in the environment, and it’s just ate recently, I’d leave the snake be for a few days. I’m sure it’ll be better after a few days.

Djm4life666you say she was in here water bowl dose that not tell you sumthing? she is etha colling off or due to shed were her eye’s blue? if they were most snakes get grumpy when they are due to shed thats why she was striking

You said your snake ate ’yesterday’ the day before it struck at you?? Well thats why! You cant bother a snake at all after it eats! Of course your bp would strike, its grumpy, plus it is vulnerable after a meal and wont take ANY chances with anything near it.
