Can snakes get fat?

if you feed your snake really often will he stuff himself till he’s sick? people say once a week but my snake eats every 4 days.
should i just hold the mouse till its a week?

I don’t know does he look fat and how big is he if he is big try stepping up a food size.

Just feed him one appropriate sized rodent once a week. Judge the prey size by the thickness of your bp’s thickest part. Match up the thickness of a mouse or rat to the thickness of your bp.

As for making them fat, I don’t think they’ll get overly thick or anything, but feeding them too much can/will stunt their growth. That’s why power feeding is frowned upon. It shortens the snakes life much like an obese person eating a lot of high fatty foods will live a shorter life.
