Still hasn’t eaten. My BP still hasn’t eaten since early December. Any new ideas? I’m thinking about going out and buying a live mouse and seeing if he’ll eat that. :/

Still hasn’t eaten. The tips posted on previous "why won’t my snake eat" topics are all that we can provide. Seeing as you haven’t tried live mice yet, I doubt you’ve tried many ideas already discussed multiple times on this forum.

Still hasn’t eaten. as long as your snake is not losing any weight it is fine. How old is your BP? Older BP’s tend to eat less and i mean way less my female i had went 8 months without eating but was still healthy no issues there took her to a vet, well many vets and they all said the same thing. as long as there is no change in the snakes weight theres nothing to worry about. just keep trying to feed him and it will eat when its ready. If it is losing weight you can get very small pinky mice and open you snakes mouth carefully, put the pinky mouse in its mouth to the point to where he has to eat it, dont be rough when putting the mouse in though dont want to hurt your snake.Best thing to do if he is losing weight is to take him to the vet better safe than sorry. And if your snake has never had live mice be for you might need to smack the mouse on the side of the tank to daze it so it does not injure you snake that is not used to its food fighting back.good luck and wish you the best

Still hasn’t eaten. To Reflex actually I have tried many of the ideas and have repeatedly read through them and have been asking for OTHER advice. Maybe before you go and talk to someone like they’re an idiot and come off as a complete @ss you should ask questions first instead of assuming.
And to keriax yeah, I’ve been told that older snakes will go off feed due to breeding season and other reasons. Thankyou for your thoughts, it really is appreciated. :] And he has lost weight but if I can’t get him to eat within the next month I am going to take him to a vet.
I won’t be asking on this forum for help anymore.

Still hasn’t eaten. You’ve been on this forum for 2 years. If you haven’t figured out yet that not everything is sugar coated, that’s your problem. I was simply stating two things: A legit piece of advice, and a statement based on my observation.

If this was intended to make me lose sleep over this situation, it sure did fail.
