Incubation question I have a clutch of BP eggs incubating now, and I had a few quick questions. I got my first clutch of eggs last year and they hatched out fine. It is now day 51 of incubation for my 2nd clutch and 2 of the eggs are dimpled alot, and the tub is sweating like crazy. My question is... Is it normal for the temps in the tub to rise on their own just before the eggs hatch? My eggs have been incubating at between 88.5 and 90 degrees the entire time, but I noticed this afternoon that the temps in the incubator are still at 89 degrees while the temp inside the egg tub has gone up to 92 degrees. I dont remember this happening last year with my first clutch, so Im a bit confused about it now. Any help would be great.

Incubation question It is normal for the box to sweat and the eggs to dimple when getting close to hatch time. Sounds like we will be seeing baby pics in a few days. Good luck

Incubation question I know that its normal for the tub to sweat and for the eggs to dimple but is it normal for the temp inside the box to suddenly get hotter then the rest of the incubator? The temp inside the incubator is at 89 degrees right now but the temp inside the egg box is at 92 degrees. It has been at 88.5-90 in both the box and bator the whole 52 days of incubation but in the last 2-3 days its been 3 degrees hotter in the box than in the incubator, and I cant figure out why. Is it because they are about to hatch? or what? lol Im not sure on this but Im thinking that maybe with all the energy that they are using up to absorb their yolks it is putting out extra heat in the tub.

Incubation question Yes as thiers fully developed babies inside absorbing the heat. Thus the egg box gets warmer in turn causing condensation

Incubation question ok thanks. I was just a bit paranoid as this is only my 2nd BP clutch and its my first clutch of morphs, so Im extra stressed about them. I dont remember any of my leo or cornsnake clutches doing this when they were close to hatching, of course the eggs were always much smaller and took up alot less space in the egg tubs. lol
Heres hoping Im right about having 5 pinstripes and 2 normals in this clutch.
