Caresheet/Breeders 
Ok I have a bearded dragon and was wanting a ball python. Ive been researching and I need to know the best/your favorite caresheet. And can I keep a baby in a 10 gallon? Just until I buy a new tank. Also a link to a nice breeder. I dont want a morph just one thats fairly cheap since it will be my first.

I recommend "The Guide to Owning a Ball Python" by John Coborn. ISBN # 0-7938-0260-1 This is by no means an in depth study but is a good reference guide. It costs around 10 dollars US. It covers the basics such as housing, feeding and what to look for if something is not right. The 10 gallon tank will be okay until the snake is about 2 feet long and then you will need to step up. I suggest you get a 30 or 40 gallon tank now and let your snake live in it all its life. Just put in lots of hides for it when it is small. www.alanboschreptiles.com is a breeder and he deals mostly in morphs but you can email him directly and see if he has some normals for sale. Please ask any more questions you may have.

I just got back from a cricket run and I messed with the snakes while I was their. I didn’t get to hold the ball because he was striking at the guy. But the red tail was extremely calm. I know their is no way I can get a red tail because of their size. But the kenyan sand boa seemed really docile. I know this is the ball forum but does anyone know much about them. i have been looking at the caresheets and I want a ball, but my parents don’t really wont another pet.
