ok here is the thing i wanna start breeding. im asking this guy what he wants for all of them.
wondering what they would be priced from a good breeder. ( just an idea of price rang )

and what morph is the bottom left ? lol i really want that one :)

i think he put up a picture of a ghost. but its a het. so he stole this pic from somewhere ?
I’m thinking he is full of it. but i am going to email him back about the spider

bottom left i believe is the visual caremel albino... perhaps to prove that the normal sibling is indeed a het- however, that pic alone wouldn’t convince me- i’d want paperwork, and honestly, i wouldnt even consider buying hets for their genetics off of CL. or perhaps he has a caremel albino ( if so, ask if it has kinks)

the pastel- if truely a het clown, prolly gonna cost a decent price- not sure what tho. But once again, if you are gonna pay for the genetics of being 100% het clown, I would really make sure it is from a relyable person. Find out his name, email address, and you can look hm up on faunaclassifieds. you can ask him for references as well.

I would look on kingsnake, and fauna for the morph prices. Just make sure you can trust who you are buying from!

the bottom left pic of the caramel, is from exotic by nature’s website- just googled caramel albino, and its like the second picture in.

That caramel is, or was in 2007, Brian’s of BHB’s according to the web page. Last I checked, BHB was in Michagin... who knows, maybe he just put a pic to give an example of the morph... but its a red flag to me...

but I would definatly demand pics of snakes for sale be photo’ed with somethign dated with perhaps your email handle on it to proof he has the said snakes, since I found the caramel albino pic in google search.

LOL, depending on how you want to play the cards, ask him about th ecaramel, and see if he tries pawning that baby snake off as his...

I would proceed with caution since the caramel photo was found as 2nd pic on google. ( did a quick check for the spider and pastel, didnt see them)

well, a full fledged caramel isnt even offered- so, if he did truely breed the het caramel, then it could have been that snake photoed, but when it was young.

see, i hate thinking the worst, but its always something i make sure to think about. If you are still interested in them, i would ask his name and check that out on fauna.

but also, i am assuming you ar elocal, so youd be able to see the snake first- then, you wont have to worry too much if he has the snakes b/c u will see them b4 buying, but then just have to make sure they are not sick or anything.


see, its just hard using CL. I do browse it, and only afew times saw bps i was interested in, but just never pursuied them- mainly b/c i didnt have the money. i know peep sold snakes on there, and i know they took care of their snakes. But sometimes people use CL to get rid of stuff quick, and sometimes the reason is questionable.

Just always get info and make sure you feel comfortable. CL is always iffy for me

thanks I mostly browse but any snake on the cl always gets my attention. lol
I think all wait do more research about breeding then pick some hets. because money is tight and thats the more realistic way to go. thanks for your opinion’s and help.

I would not buy crap off of him. He can’t take the time to proof read his ad. How are these animals being cared for? These question jump to my mind real quick before I even search for his name.

You live in Illinois, correct? I live in Idaho and found the same ad on my local craigslist today. He is a scammer. The funny thing is the caramel isn’t even only caramel, it’s a caramel glow. So even if he stole the picture for an example of the morph, it’s not the right morph lol.
