MAKing hides  if i made a hide out of clay would it be bad for the snakes health? the kind of clay u mold then harden in the over?

MAKing hides  I don’t think that would cause any harm to your snake. Painting it however could. You have to be very careful about the paint you use. Also, check the clay you are talking about heating in the oven, I just remembered that some clays have lead in them. Not good for us, can’t think it would do your snake any good either. So look into that before you start baking. And if you paint, use a latex (water based) paint, preferable one that has a high gloss. This dries to a nice hard enamel which is less likely to chip or allow water penetration.

MAKing hides  If you want a clay hide, just go to walmart and get a clay pot bottom for a buck or two, and knock a hole out of the side with a hammer.
