 Breeding question

No I am not wanting to breed even though it looks like it would be cool but my question is, is there a season for breeding and if so do males get aggressive? My ball Louis will be hiding in his hiding log and when he sees me he moves up to the side of the tank really fast but he doesn’t act like his is going to strike. any ideas as to why he does this?

my corn snake does that because he just wants to get taken out and he’s excited.
