Going on vacation..heating questions while im gone???

not sure what to do about my young ball python. im leaving for a 9 night vacation this coming august. right now i have the ball in a 26QT sterlite and im running two UTH both on dimmers.. i finally have the temps perfect.. my issue or problem is that i have noticed that the temps in the tub have alot to do with my room temperture.. meaning, if its colder in my room i turn up the dimmer a bit, or if its a hot muggy day then i have to turn down the dimmer because it gets too hot in his enclosure. what should I do on vacation? August in upstate NY can be 90 degrees one day and 65 degrees the next day. i hate to keep the dimmer up because if it gets too hot in room then the tank my get upwards of 100 degrees, but if i keep the dimmer down and it gets cool outside then the tub might dip to the low 70’s. i know its not gonna be perfect week, but short term what is better for the snake? one week of maybe lower temps or one week of higher temps? im thinking lower temps because i dont think the tub will drop below 70... please help, thanks..

If you don’t have some one you can trust
to check and monitor them while you are gone...

I would suggest investing in a Thermostat.
I use this one Link.

Have had it for a few years, works well for me.
Some do not like this type because it is a dial type.

It’s not as expensive as the higher end ones, but it does the job.
Think it runs about 40 bux at petco.

Use it on the warm side and set your cool side dimmer fat a low setting.
You can plug 2 heating units into this stat.
