when can basilisk eat mice if ever

No they cannot eat mice first of all hepetologists are saying mice are causing lizards to get compacted because off thier fat and second of all they carry tons of parasites so if u do want to feed one then make sure it has no parasites on it. If I sound mean i am not trying to I just dont want your basilisk to die.

The general rule of thumb is that you can feed anything that’s no wider than the space in between their eyes. Anything bigger and you risk having choking/digestion/impaction problems.
