I did not get a good picture of it. I did not get its tail I am goign to try again today after class. I think it is a brown basilisks.

Yes that’s definitely a brown basilisk AKA striped basilisk. Common basilisks are often referred to as brown basilisks as well, but they’re different species.

It’s really an awesome find. Please keep us updated!
