OT- Everyone still have their firsts?
Tort - Zeus Leo - Spotty Corn - Cherry Turt - Sunny Ackie - Jaws(doesn’t really count since I only have him) Red Eft - Keegan Dusky Slamander - Den Narrow Mouthed Toad - Blobby Cat - Ariel Finch - Charlie Now my firsts that are lost forever: GTF - Stick FBN - Slow(yes that was his name when I was 3 lol) FBT - Hoppity Cham - .....I forgot his name :( Day gecko - Cling Golden Gecko - Shimmer Blue Tegu - Blueberry Dog - Izzy Fish - He didn’t have a name but he was a big white corydora that lived for 12 years through 4 tanks. I think thats it. :) Your turn! |

California King Snake - Cali - RIP (I had him back in the 60’s) Dog - Mr. Chips - RIP (We had him when I was a kid in the 60’s) Cat - Georgie - RIP (Yup back in the 60’s) Bearded Dragon - Smaug - RIP (He passed about 2 years ago at 9 1/2 years) Cockateil - Petey - RIP (He passed about in 1998 he was over 21 years old) Guniea Pig - Squee - RIP (She passed about at 7 years of age) Spider Monkey - George - RIP (Had him in the 60’s) Ducks - can’t remember the name - RIP (yup, you guessed it, back in the 60’s) Chicken - not named - RIP (the 60’s) Lepoard Gecko - Gandaulf - RIP (2003) Like I said at my age I have out lived all of my animals and both my parents and a nephew. Fish- speckles- looong gone. I was three Cat- Fluffy- had to be rehomed, mother allergic Rabbit- fluffy II rofl- new owner, ditto ^ Horse- Milo- being a pain in the butt, thats my boy Snake- Jemfire (corn)- chillin Some Native Toad- Toady- living in my yard now Bird- Dove- RIP sweetie Chicken- Chica- Fox got her T.T Dog- Freeway- he was really badly injured, had to put down :( House Gecko- Yuppers I think that covers it :D |

Beardie - Scout - just a young guy, 13 months and my new best buddy...though he doesn’t think so! :) Dog - Mika - RIP - Mika was a lab/shep/rot mix who I rescued from the Humane Society. Mika died at 6.5. She just stopped eating one day and the vet couldn’t figure out why. She stayed in their office on IV for 3 weeks. Several times she perked up and we took her off IV and tried to feed her, but she would just vomit it up 12 hrs later with no sign of digestion. He opened her up and even offered to open her up again for free, but Mika told me at 3 wks by chewing out her IV repeatedly that she was done. She was my best friend and I still miss her like crazy, 4 yrs later. (I’m about to cry....need to move on!!!) I know, I’m a sad excuse.... :) Cat - Terry - RIP - Terry was hit by a car coming home for turkey on Easter sunday. He broke his jaw and palate. We took him to the emergency vet clinic here, but the vet wouldn’t operate because it was easter and he waited til the tuesday and Terry died on the operating table. Rat - Tiger - RIP - Tiger was a male hooded rat with a grey hood. He died of a heart attack in my dad’s hands at about 2 yrs old. Fish - Can’t remember his name - He was a beta fish and he NEVER ate and actually lived for about 6 months....kinda creepy! Budgies - Thelma & Louise - RIP - Louise turned out to be a boy.... Surprisingly, both died of natural causes, though they did both have a couple close encounters of the ceiling fan kind... :) albino Holland Lop Rabbit - Leo (now Snowy) - Leo was another Humane Society kid... We picked him up at 10 months old, and he is absolutely the most gentle, sweet rabbit ever. Unfortunately he was unneutered and had a bad habit of violating our also male cat .... We rehomed him to our next door neighbour and her kids! We still get to see him, but he has a new name and a whole bunch more attention. Veiled Chameleon - Deuce - Deuce was also rehomed recently due to my work schedule and inability to maintain his humidity. He has gone to a new home with a very experienced leo breeder. He is her first cham, but she intends to make baby chams with him, which is exciting....cause I don’t have to do it! :) Mom - Best mom in the world, 59 yrs old. Dad - RIP - My dad died of a massive coronary when I was 14, which was 16 yrs ago... I believe that those are all of my firsts. There have been many others. Rescues, Fosters, etc. |
