 OT: I lost a leo today :(

I am heartbroken....I lost Victoria, my Tremper tonight. When we went to feed her, she was cold and unresponsive, not breathing at all. She’s going out now to be buried in my yard. While I was cleaning out her tank just now, we found an egg in her hide. She’s never been with a male in her life (I’ve had her since she was a few weeks old, she was one of my Petco babies) Now I feel horrible thinking that she could have died because she was egg-bound or something.

Going off to cry some more......I hate sharing bad news, but I had a horrible feeling that she wouldn’t make it till the vet appointment on Monday

Awww, Denise! I’m so sorry for your loss. Don’t blame yourself. You did all you could to take the best care of her. There’s just no way of knowing what’s going on sometimes. Thank you all...this is very hard for me to take, happening right before Mother’s Day. Yes, my leos and dragons are like my babies, so it hit me hard. Plus, this is my second mothers day since I lost my son, so that in itself makes it hard.

On a more positive note, Vivian still has a very fat tail and was hunting crix today, and Victor actually looked perky today. They are going to the vet on Monday to be panacur’d. I hope that does the trick and they get their appetites back soon.

You guys are the best...I love you all!
