I love tortoises. Such personality. I know I might get attacked for this but they have more personality than beardies. They just don’t have a concept on height and glass. lol.

Yes Jonah they do have a tremendiouse anount of personality and i would have to agree on the more than beardie thing because when it comes down to it the Beardies do have diffrent personalitys but nothing like the torts I had a sully before iggy and he was a hoot to have.I do want another leo though.I almost got Chugga do you remember Chugga?Annas leo?Any way she contacted me a few months back cause they had no time for her anymore and i was gonna meet them half way but the gas prices sky rocketed and it was gonna cost me like $300 in gas just to go get her .I need to find out what happened if she found a home for her or not.

Rayna Im glad they are the same weight makes me feel comfort knowing that Blinkie is not behind anymore..lol..My Dragons always start out slow but seem to speed up in growth tords the end

Well she was gonna get rid of him but I dont know if they did or not.Me and Anna were gonna try to start a breeding project together if they ended up being oppisite sexes cause she live about two hours from me.I mean this would have been for a few mor years but she was gonna send Chugga to me threw the spring and then i was gonna send back. But I guess now i just gotta look for my own.i need to do it soon o they can grow together cause Iggy is 3 and getting bigger and the bigger they get the more they cost.So if I get one his size now i am looking at spending almost $400 as it is.And if I go the cheep rout and buy a hatchling It will set me back almost 5 years

Can you physically see that it has gotten taller?

Pyramiding can appear to grow as the tortoise does. After a while it appears to shrink.

Does she have a growth ring yet?

(All of our beardie friends are probably so confused right now)

(AND Trish is probably thinking..."OMG another thing I have to worry about?!?!?! I don’t even know what it is!!!")

Silly Lisa,

Leos have a somewhat Flattened domed shell.

Umm.......let me put it this way....they are like a pancake tortoise except flipped on the side.....

Sense does that make?

Take hi9m off the greens. What kinds of greens have you been feeding?

Pyramiding is from too much...protein(right?) so make sure to feed greens that have little to no protein.

If pyramiding is caused by too much calcium...give him some collards.

Take the collards COMPLETELY out of the food. Try to EXCLUSIVELY feed Escarole and Dandelion greens.

If you can’t find the dandelion, try some endive instead. I would take out the spring mix too(for now..its not bad but it is mostly just..."fluff")
