Introducing the twins ...LOL
So as I have played with names and candy bars for other creatures of delight...I tossed out some ideas to Edel ...we tried to be unique ...M&M’s ...nahhh... snickers and ...nahhhh Almond Joy...LOlL....you know Well we hit it some where around the Ice cream neighborhood...I was gonna name # 12 or 13 , depending how you look at em, Moose tracks... and Edel said she wanted Pistachio... we laughed!!... and she said, I want to google the 31 flavors ... wait !!! thats it ...perfect....ROFLOL ALLOW US TO INTRODUCE BASKIN & ROBBINS Edel calls them the ice cream twins .....lol They are delicious looking ....lol BASKIN
ROBBINS
First bath upon arrival ...they love the water... and they eat like piggies...so darn cute!!!
They are weighed and measured and just fantastic ....we will chart(MS EXCEL ) the growth and keep ya posted Thanks Danny ... very cool , and thanks Edel for the sweet gift ...can’t wait to get up there and play with em... Cmon’ Edel add some pics ... Cp |

 I don’t know much about them but they sure have some pretty coloring. I absolutely love the name!! lol! I think it’s cute that you & Edel are sharing joint custody! haha

Anyway, aren’t the The Cutest!!!!! They are still a bit scared and burrow under their towels when am around. Baskin did not eat anything yesterday, so I made sure that he was eating when I left for work this morning. He didn’t eat much, so am gonna get him in just a couple minutes here and try and feed him and see if he will eat for me. Robbins.....always eats. LOL And, he/she is out basking even though am here.....woohoo. Baskin went straight to his water bowl when i first put him in his tank.
I love this pic.....look at Baskin’s little bum.....OH HOW CUTE!!!! ROFL
Baskin again....look at his little chubbiness.....Oh I just love him....

I love the tile. It is so easy to clean. I did have some problems with tile that I got for a beardie condo ... tile didn’t fit tightly, and so the caulking would seep up the poopy juices....lol But I took that apart and decided on that one enclosure, not to caulk. It’s working out great. If it falls through the cracks, just lift and wipe. Edel |

What are you offering them? Thats the first time Ive seen any of the babies not eat much. It could just be the stress though. Is Baskin going to live at Chris’s when he visits, or are they staying with Edel? lol oh and Edel, while we’re on the topic of baby lizards, Ive seen the ackies breeding over the last three days, each time for like 4 hours at a time. They just dont give it a rest... lol Be sure to keep me updated, including pics, as they get older! |

I am feeding a mixture of cat food with veggies and fruit. Same veggies I feed the dragons. Baskin just ate four silkworms and is at the moment eating some of the veggie/fruit/cat food mixture.....Robbins just ate five silks and most of the cat food mixture through the day. They’re starting to come out more often from their burrowing blankies. They will hide for a while, bask for a while, then hide again......they will be ok....I have been handling them everyday and will soon learn to trust me. Thanks Danny!!! We are using the ’9 Lives Chicken Dinner’.....dang it smells good lol.....Baskin has eaten the cat food only, but Robbins eats everything up. I took a small tupperware type container and mixed up the greens, some fruit and the cat food (made sure there was a bit more cat foot). Robbins has been eating it all. I actually picked that up from the bluetongueskink dot net website. Under care sheet and care of young. Says to mix it all up. Hopefully baskin will start eating the veggies and fruit soon as well. For the veggies I just use the same greens that I give to the dragons. They love the silk worms, and today we are gonna try hornworms. Edel |
