wow how old is Fez, I have a baby beardy since Monday, but he eats a lot of crix not as many as 27 though, I also feed him some Mustard or Collard greens, he’s the only one of my lizards that’ll eat veggies my CWD or GB won’t touch them.

UUmm 27 crickets is not a lot for a juvenile Beardie. I would say somewhere between 30 to as many as 70 a day is normal while they are growing.

Dadx2mj: Dang are you serious my beardie isn’t even 5 inches long, I’ll post pics later when my cameras fixed. But he does have a big tummy and eats what he wants I try to offer him food 3 to 4 times a day when I’m home and he’ll eat but he eats Mustard greens too, so I think he’s doing fine. Its just really weird because my Water Dragon and my Green Basilisk would never eat that much thats why I’m soo shocked lol.

Yeah I am serious. Make sure you are feeding crickets of the right size. They should be no bigger than the distance between your Beardies eyes. It is good your baby is eating greens but he needs lots of protein to grow. When Godzilla was a baby and until over a year old he would eat two bowls of veggies and greens and around 40 or so crickets a day.along with a few super worms here and there.

he eats alot of greens and i said ONE feeding i feed him 3 times daily but the crickets are big he will eat about 40 a day
