Not Eatin Not Poopin!?!? Pls HELP!!

Hey everyone,
Got a situation here- My pair of dragons that have lived together for a year decided to mate. They were pretty rambunctious, so i asked whether or not they needed to be seperated on the breeding messege board. I was told that it was absolutly necessary so i did. All seemed well. Now the male hasnt eaten more than a couple crickets in a day - sometimes NONE for the past 4 days!?!? No poop is to be seen either. ...?? As far as Sabby the female goes she’s been eating like a horse but she too hasnt pooped since I seperated them!?
Both temps are 102ish basking side 79-84 cooler side as it was when the tank was larger......
I dont really know what other info to give.
I’m starting to get REALLLLY worried though and any responses would be great.

I truely appreciate anyones time and insight who responds to my dillema.

Thanks,
aAron.

well for one did you give her a lay box? if they mated she must have eggs, which means she has to get rid of them. if not she becomes eggbound and thats not good. and as for the male he might be sad she’s not there. try something new to peak his interest. or try feeding him while he can see the female. and as for the poop if not much goes in not much will come out.

A female will have eggs whether she mated with a male or not, they just won’t be fertile.

Just keep trying to get them to eat their crickets and vegetables. You should also give them a bath at least once a week as well to keep them hydrated. You may want to try giving them some superworms or waxworms just to see if they will eat them.

thanlyou for your insight my friend,

so she will be laying eggs whether she is pregnant or not? i felt her belly pretty vigorously today and although she has seemed to fatten up i felt no signs of eggs. Im thinking the fattyness if from the 35 or so crickets that she hasnt pooped out yet. This is really what worries me.....couldnt they rot in her stomach or something?......They are both welll hydrated as they enjoy drinking from a eyedropper daily. As for the male I might try some of that dragon powerade that seems to be a hit ( posted on this msg boared. Anyhow any other advice would be muchappreciated.

Thanks again for your time and effort,
aAron.
