Way OT - Big frog visited us
Just thought I’d share this with you guys. A couple nights ago, my boyfriend, Brandon, and I were taking my Chihuahua, Spunky, for a walk. Sitting right on the inside of Brandon’s apartment hallway was a big, pretty nasty, frog or toad of some type. I walked passed it and noticed it when I was a foot from it then I flipped out. I like frogs when they’re in an enclosure, but when they’re able to jump on me and weigh 5 pounds then I don’t like them. Brandon got it to jump and when it hit the pavement it actually made a flop sound. It grossed me out! lol! Brandon took pics of it. It’s actually pretty when its on a photograph and not directly in front of me. lol! Take a look! (By the way, it was much bigger than it looks in the pic! LOL!) ~Courtney

Way OT - Big frog visited us Yep! He’s a big one! I found out on the frog forum that he’s a bull frog. I’ve seen him jump on my car before. I was afraid he dented it when he jumped on it, but he hasn’t. . . yet! lol!

Way OT - Big frog visited us I think he’s cute...thanks for sharing. I’m not big on holding them though....I’m not much into the wet reptiles or amphibians (as far as keeping them) but I like to look.

Way OT - Big frog visited us Lol Xta- I agree, I like the dry ones, not the wet ones- I took care of a couple of "pacman" frogs at the zoo, and came in one morning and the big one had the smaller one halfway down his throat- I had to throw the pair in a bucket of water- when the big guy let go, some of the smaller one’s toes were partially digested. Traumatic experience and I don’t like pacman frogs anymore.
