Hehehehe! Can’t help you with the pics, but I can help you with sexing. Have Dino sit in the palm of your hand facing away from you. Lift up his tail to a 90 degree angle, but not too far or else you’ll hurt him and look at the base right underneath his tail. Then look at this site or take some pics and try to post them here. lol! This site may be able to explain how to do it better than I can. lol! Good luck to you and Dino! Sexing your beardie

Really Sean? How can you tell? She has been getting baths a couple times a day (since the shedding began) as well as drinking water from her bowl. I’ll step it up a bit more tomorrow. THANKS!Kelly

I’m leaning towards Dino being a female, but isn’t she still young? You can’t be sure of their sex by visualing sexing them until they get older. I want to say that around 6 minths age you’ll be able to tell better, but some don’t become sexually mature until later.

Yes Courtney you’re right, she’s still really young. December 23 the breeder said she was somewhere between 2-2.5mo, so she is about 5 months old now. Still very small though.

On the dehydration thing it just looks like the skin’s wrinkley but if she’s shedding that would explain it also (you know her better than I can tell from a quick pic so use your own judgement). 5 months old, really??? Man she is small (BTW Kevin, Zade is like 3-4 months old, I think). It’s harder to tell from a pic but sexing can be done by someone experienced at 4-6 weeks old with about 90% accuracy. Males are definitely easier to tell for sure, if you’re going to make a mistake it’ll be thinking it’s female and then the hemipeni will drop and it will all of the sudden look male. I only see one bump in the middle though and not 2 bumps with a divit so I’m going with female for now lol. Sean

Yes she is very small, which worries me, but she is active and healthy and eating well. I had her checked for parasites and she has none. I just keep feeding away. :) Kelly
