 Eggs dying

I have my male and female dragon together for some 2 years now. I hibernate them every year to get them ready to mate. Every year she lays a clutch of about 20-30 eggs. I remove them and put them in the incubator at about 82 degrees and within a matter of days all the eggs cave in and turn yellow and then shrivel up into nothing. I figure that it is either that the male is not actually fertilizing the female or maybe shes not getting enough protien or food or calcium. But it’s been 3 seasons like this and ive tryed changing diets and even seperating them after her eggs start developping and still all failures. Can someone please give me a hint of something that is going wrong or something that im doing wrong. Thank you

are you finding the eggs right after they are layed and still wet? Are you using wet vermiculite? If so make sure you put a cup of water in the incubater to keep good humidity. Are you sure they are mating? it could also be infertile eggs. next time you have eggs, you may want to candle them to see if there are veins.

GimliMakaio, I was wondering the samething after reading the post again. It is definitely unusual. But then, I’m not an expert so I usually just reread everything to try and see if I missed anything do to not having a very good memory.LOL.

 Eggs dying

with all 4 of the clutches my female has laid since feb all i have done is take them out right away as soon as she’s done laying them. i place them in perlite i mist the perlite first before putting the eggs in then i put the containers int he incubator after filling the bootom wiht water i keep the incubator at about 84 degrees.. and if any of the eggs start to dent in i place a moist paper towel over each of the containers and make sure the bottom is still full of water and after about 2 days the eggs puff back up and so far she’s had 1st clutch 22 all hatched 2nd clutch of 23 all hatched 3rd clutch of 25 all hatched..and of what i am told they can lay clutches every 4 weeks for several months never heard of them only laying once a year that is very uncommon as far as all the stuff i have read on here so far. do you separate them at all and then put them back together for them to mate???? and have you actually seen them mate??cause if your giving her , her vitamines and calicum and she eats well i dont’ see that, that would effect the eggs the way your saying sounds more like the other said that they have been infertile eggs..maybe try separating them for a month and then reintroducing them again and see if they mate and see what happens from there.. good luck and i hope something i’ve said can help you..
