They should start hatching really soon. when mine sweat like that, i wipe the moisture off. my first clutch started collapsing within 12 hours of sweating. They take forever to come out of the shell. I started to panic because the first one looked like it was dead. (your husband answer my questions at that time. if it wasn’t for him i probably would have never gotten any sleep. LOL) I have some in the incubator that are 62 days and are just slightly starting to sweat. Good luck with your babies. Tanya

Eggs are sweating... Do we need to wipe the sweat off or will they be allright without? In the books that we have read, they leave it on but it almost seems like it’s covering the top of the egg which means less air for the babies correct? Aghhhh.. So many things to think about.Laura

Eggs are sweating... I generally don’t wipe it off, if you choose to just be real careful. I wouldn’t pick up the egg at this point because the shell is going to be very thin. As far as how long, usually it’s within 24 hours or so but i have seen them take over a week after they sweat. Good luck, you should see little heads sticking out anytime now.Sean

Laura, forget the part about your husband, i got you confused with someone else here, sorry. blonde moment LOL. Has any of your eggs hatched yet? I just use a Qtip to wipe the sweat without picking them up. But i don’t think it will hurt them to leave the sweat. hope this helps and good luck.

Eggs are sweating... my clutch just started to really sweat. They are taking forever so we can be impatient together LOL. One of my other girls just layed a clutch of 19. I seem to be getting small clutches which I like so that I can give the babies one on one attention. Has any of yours hatched yet? I like watching them wiggle out. it’s a real adrenaline rush!!!!!!

Eggs are sweating... 20-30 days gestation before laying. Then anywhere between 2-3 months incubation depending on your temps. Sean
